Beauty for those Hangover Days

Fail-safe products are key to looking fresh the morning after the night before. We all know what it's like to have to work when you're feeling like death, but how do you ensure you don't look six feet under? A well-rested appearance always starts with skincare, so I'd choose a brightening eye cream like Benefit It's Potent (£25.50) to fade dark circles and smooth fine lines. Moving on to base, something that looks like great skin is always key. A tinted moisturiser, like the Garnier BB cream (£9.99) will even out a blotchy complexion in a flash, whilst adding hydration to dehydrated skin.

Cream-based formulas give a dewy finish to the skin. Benefit Posietint (£24.50) is a pretty pink blush that is a doddle to apply with the fingers and makes you look fresh and perky. Pair this with a tiny amount of High Beam (£19.50) to highlight the tops of the cheekbones, brow bones and most importantly, the inner corners of the eye for the wide awake look. To amplify the wide-eyed look, curl the lashes and coat with a mascara that gives a natural finish like Rimmel Wonder'full Wake Me Up Mascara (£7.99).

Which products do you rely on for the morning after the night before?
