Beauty Tous Les Jours

Beauty Tous Les Jours, the post where I share my everyday beauty. Whether it's old favourites or new releases, these are the products that have crept into my everyday makeup bag. There's a bit of a new base routine going on, a fail-safe one wash wonder for the lids and a lip combo that has me swooning. All but one of these products are new to me, so this is a bit of a first impressions too

I'm going to start off with a product I mentioned in my recent KIKO haul, and that is the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow (£6.90) in the shade Golden Taupe. Out of the two shades I picked up, this has fast become my favourite. I often find taupes can be a bit too cool with my pale skin, but this one has the most stunning gold shimmer running through that really transforms it into one of the most unique shades in my collection. If you want to see swatches, you can find them here.

Beauty Tous Les Jours Base

Moving onto base, one of my most notable purchases of recent times is the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation (£31) in the shade Mont Blanc. I had been faithful to the L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation for almost a year, but I'd noticed my skin had been a bit dehydrated this winter, so wanted to try something a little less matte. Contrary to the name, Sheer Glow is neither sheer nor glowy, and it was far from love at first use. That being said, Mont Blanc (and the Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla) is one of the best colour matches I've found in a foundation to date, and it does give a really perfected finish to the skin.

After wanting it for about a year, I finally caved and purchased the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder (£38) in Dim Light. I use this all over as it sets my foundation without looking too matte, and it adds a subtle warmth to my pale skin. It's hard to say just yet whether it is worthy of its £38 price tag, but it is definitely a welcome addition to my makeup bag.

Benefit Hervana (£23.50) is the one product in this edit that isn't new to me, but it's the only blush I've really been using ever since I bought it around Christmas. It is just the ultimate 'no blush-blush' for my skin tone. It goes with absolutely every look, and gives a light, cool-toned flush to the skin that is basically foolproof.

Beauty Tous Les Jours Lips

For the lips, the one combo that has trumped any other recently is the Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Liner (£2.99) in Tiramisu, followed by new L'Oréal launch, the Infallible Matte Max (£6.99) in Silencio. Tiramisu is a rich and warm brown-toned nude and is surprisingly comfortable on the lips. Released with L'Oréal's recent sculpting collection, the Infallible Matte Max is a unique product, featuring a powder in the lid and a large sponge applicator. Despite being a powder-based product, it makes the liner a lot more comfortable to wear due to the fact it is formulated with micro-oils. The shade complements Tiramisu really well, giving a perfected matte finish to the lips.
